IstvánVárdai is a gifted young Hungarian whose playing on the cello is commendable for its fluidity and virtuosity, and distinguished by both a fleet-fingered lightness and a rich timbre. He plays a Montagnana cello from 1720, and since his debut concert in 1998 in The Hague, he has performed in New York, London, Paris, Prague, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Geneva, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Florence, Tokyo, Kobe, Beijing with great success. See him at One&Only Royal Mirage on Friday 21st October.
