Dubai Art Season is here and is set to bring a variety of exciting activities for all to enjoy.

With the theme 'Take A Walk On The Art Side', the season will run till March, and will shine a light on the amazing creators from writers to artists.

The season began with the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, currently on and running till 6 February at InterContinental Hotel Dubai Festival City and the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, where over 250 speakers and panellists as will share their journey with writing.

The Dubai in 1962 exhibition, now on and running till 17 March at Al Safa Art and Design Library, will highlight the strong ties between Japan and the UAE, with images taken by Japanese photographer Yoshio Kawashima during his visit to to the UAE.

The highly anticipated 11th edition of Sikka Art and Design Festival will also take place from 24 February to 5 March and will showcase the brilliant art by local and UAE based talents.

Alserkal Avenue and Alserkal Arts Foundation will also host a series of creative cultural activities, including art exhibitions and talks including The Tree School initiative, a gathering place for groups and individuals interested in learning from each other and sharing common thoughts based on personal experience.

The 16th edition of Art Dubai will also take place at Madinat Jumeirah from 1 to 5 March and will see art discussions and artists gather to discuss creative ideas at the Etihad Museum.
