Bubbles And Balloons’ Festival To Return At Dubai Festival Plaza From 10 April
Updated on 08 April 2024

To make the festive week of Eid Al Fitr more exciting for little ones in Dubai, the 'Bubbles and Balloons' festival is making a comeback on 10 April. Dubai Festival Plaza, is hosting the festival, and it's a special children's fair designed for families to enjoy during the holidays.

Dubai Festival Plaza in Jebel Ali Village will be the venue for the festival from 10 to 14 April. The event offers workshops, live shows, and a spectacular balloon sculpture of a dragon crafted from over 30,000 balloons. Mall visitors can also meet various balloon characters. Kids can join fun balloon-making workshops led by internationally acclaimed artists, allowing them to create their balloon creations to take home.

At The Festival You Can Expect:

You can partake in workshops from renowned balloon artists like: Mr Balloonatic, Doctor Bob, Colin Miles, and Denise van Dooren.

Mr. Balloonatic holds Guinness World Records for 'Largest Minifigure and Largest 3D Fractal' with modelling balloons. Doctor Bob organised the UK’s first public balloon art festival and won the 'Large Balloon Sculpture Competition' in Italy. Colin Miles, a balloon decoration specialist, has won over 30 international awards and received the Don Cheesman Award at Float 2022. Lastly, Denise van Dooren, a Dutch entrepreneur, won the 'Blow Up' competition in the Netherlands in 2022, showcasing her balloon sculpting skills.

Festival Plaza’s 'Bubbles and Balloons' festival will also host interactive bubble shows every day hosted by Pop the Bubbleman, who combines science with fun to teach his audience the art of bubble making. This informative and enjoyable experience allows mall visitors to witness an incredible display of bubbles in various shapes and sizes, performed by the master of bubbles himself.
