dining tried and tested Eggspectation: An Eggcellent Dining Spot
Eggspectation: An Eggcellent Dining Spot
Updated on 14 October 2021

Dubai is home to a multitude of restaurants and cafes and with the wide range of options available, it can get overwhelming trying to figure out the next restaurant to dine at.

Eggspectation is definitely a great dining spot to try out for all your breakfast, lunch, dinner and even brunch needs.

The Canadian food chain has made its way all over the world including Dubai and have set up branches in JBR and Citywalk.

The restaurant at offers guests a great place to relax and eat delicious meals while in the company of family and friends.

With the weather in Dubai transitioning from summer to the cooler months of the year, guests at the JBR restaurant, can choose from dining outdoors or dining indoors, where fun music is played to match the cozy and ambient dining area and enjoy a lovely meal outside, taking in the stunning views of JBR and Ain Dubai.

Ensuring all COVID-19 protocols are followed, the tables have been spaced apart to ensure the safety of diners.

Although being known for their breakfast options, Eggspectation offers diners a variety of dishes to choose from that caters to even the pickiest eater's liking.

From pasta, burgers, crepes, pancakes, sandwiches, salads and more, the options are endless.

As given in the name of the restaurant, the eggs at Eggspectation are a must-try with the signature Eggspectation Omelette, made with mushrooms, peppers, bacon, sausage, cheese and potatoes, an absolute delight to eat.

The Fried Chicken and Waffles, which is a classic and has been on their menu since 1993, has all the flavour you could ask for with the crunchy and juicy fried chicken paired with the sweet waffles, topped with arugula salad, the perfect addition to the already delicious dish.

We could not visit Eggspectation and not try out the highly raved fluffy pancakes.

Opting for the Blueberry Pancakes, the pancakes were light and airy and were filled with blueberry compote and served with maple syrup.

The pancakes are definitely one of the main dishes to try out and is the perfect way to start the day on an amazing note, as well as enjoy as a leisurely afternoon treat with a coffee.

A meal for two at Eggspectation is priced around Dhs 200.
