25 Years Of Laughs With The Laughter Factory

The Laughter Factory is reaching 25 years of making people across the UAE laugh in June this year. To celebrate this milestone and a quarter of a century of monthly stand up live comedy, The Laughter Factory is bringing the '25 Years of Laughs' June tour. 

The Laughter Factory began in June 1996, and over a quarter of a century has gone on to produce amazing shows that have garnered a loyal following and fan base. 

Set up by Gail Clough and Duncan Jones, owners of the company, the first shows were based in Hyatt Regency Hotel in Deira, and now tour different hotels across the UAE and bring laughter and fun comedians from around the world have to a UAE audience of all nationalities.

The June tour will feature comedians, Cory Michaelis, Mike Rice and Mike Marino.

Comedian Cory Michaelis is known for his hilarious stand-up acts. He has released his album, 'The Collage Dropout' which has hit number 2 on the Billboard and iTunes charts. Michaelis is also known for his 45-minute special titled, 'Collage Graduate' and his set is a must-watch.

Mike Rice is a comedian that has performed regularly at The Laughter Factory. Rice is famously known in the Irish and European scene and has performed stand-up comedy twice on national Irish television. His solo show 'The Best Boy in Ireland' was sold out at the Edinburgh Fringe festival as well as Perth Fringe Festival.

Mike Marino is known worldwide as New Jersey's Bad Boy and has acted in many television shows including 'Party of Five' and 'Frasier'. His comedy sets will leave you laughing for days and will definitely be a great laugh.

The tour offers 5 different shows, with first two shows held on 24 and 25 June at Mövenpick JBR Dubai and a the third show being held on 30 June at Zabeel House by Jumeriah, The Greens Dubai.

On 1 July, a show will be held at Grand Millennium Barsha Heights, Dubai with the final show of the tour held on 2 July at Grand Millennium Business Bay, Dubai.

The shows start at 8.30pm with tickets priced at Dhs 160. Tickets are available on The Laughter Factory website.
