Philippines Independence Day And Russia Day To Be Celebrated In Dubai

This weekend sees Philippines Independence Day, marking the day the Philippines declared independence from Spain in 1898, and Russia Day which has been celebrated on 12 June since 1992. Both Philippines Independence Day as well as Russian Day will be celebrated at Dubai Festival City on Saturday, 12 June this year.

The Filipino and Russian communities can celebrate from afar in Dubai with a stunning light and fountain show at Imagine.

A special Philippines Independence Day will be held with lights displaying the Philippines flag and a fountain show at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

At 9.30pm, the Russian flag will be on display for all to see to commemorate Russia Day.
