Global Village has opened its doors to the public and is set to offer stunning new attractions, shows, shopping offers and food concepts for its 26th season.

The region's leading multicultural family destination for culture, shopping, attractions and entertainment has added new streets, additional seating, new street food areas, new landmarks and new spots for photo opportunities, to increase guest flow.

15 new stage shows will be available with the first water stunt show, called Harbour Force, featuring jet skis, fly-boards and a 27 metre high dive tower.

200 existing daily shows featuring 400 artists from around the world as well as a new Iraq pavilion will also be added to the existing 26 pavilions.

The Carnaval is set to offer a new look and will feature over 170 rides, games and attractions including thrill rides, the kid's zone, an inflatable Arabian Nights Bounce Palace and more.

Choose from 200 restaurants to dine at Global Village or at the Railway Market, which takes inspiration from Thailand and will feature 14 train carriages for over 30 vendors of sweets, ice-cream, pastries, beverages and confectionery from Asia and around the world.

The Floating Market will offer the tastes of Asia and will also feature a new Dragon Lake backdrop with a fire fountain show featuring a 20-metre long fire-breathing dragon.

A stunning firework show will take place every Thursday and Friday throughout the season at 9pm and the main stage will feature an audio-video makeover with new productions including Puttin’ on the Glitz, Here Comes the Boom! by Urban Crew, After Dark and more.

The first Peter Rabbit Adventure Zone will offer a series of fun and interactive activity areas based on the world of Peter Rabbit and his friends.

The Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium is set to take visitors on a journey around the world with over 100 new exhibits and a new Dark Gallery, where guests can see hard to believe yet real tools of ancient prison punishment.

The Ripley’s Marvelous Mirror Maze, with over 250 mirrors, LED lighting and digital sound will display new levels of illusion and a 4D Moving Theatre will feature the Happy Family movie.

The new season is open from 4pm to 12am from Sunday to Wednesday and from 4pm to 1am on Thursday, Friday and public holidays.
