The last week before the New Year is here and what better way to spend it than by making the most memories to remember the year by. From watching plays to celebrating the festive season, here are some fun things you can do during the upcoming week.

MessFest 2021

When 24 to 30 December

Where OliOli

Get messy at the MessFest with OliOli. The parking lot at OliOli will be transformed and will offer a space to get messy with mud cakes, paint catapults, rainbow pop rockets and more. Five dedicated stations will also be available with a bubble lab, splash mania, paint palooza and other activities for endless excitement. To close all the fun, delight in a show with rainbow fireworks and liquid nitrogen explosions. Entry for one child and one adult is priced at Dhs 156 and will offer access to all OliOli galleries as well.

Christmas Movie Nights

Sauce is hosting a fun movie night for the holidays and will screen Christmas movies in a festively decorated setting. On 23 December, watch 'Christmas with the Kranks', 'Home Alone 2' on 24 December, the iconic 'Home Alone' movie on 25 December and the final movie on 26 December with 'The Santa Clause'. The Nutcracker

When 23 to 25 December

Right in time for Christmas, watch the Russian State Ballet perform an amazing rendition of The Nutcracker. The music for the production will be done by Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky and will feature an orchestra of 30 musicians. The story revolves around Clara who gets a nutcracker from her godfather and at midnight, the house starts transforming.

Enjoy a spectacular drone light show taking place every day from 7pm at Bluewaters and The Beach. Watch three themed shows with two performed daily.
