The first edition of PopCon Middle East is set to be held this year!

The three-day event will be held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) at Expo City Dubai and will feature exclusive workshops, movie screenings, cosplay gaming competitions and more.

Visitors can enjoy interactive zones and activations as well as meet their favourite actors.

Katie Cassidy, known for playing Ruby in Supernatural and the Black Canary in Arrow, Supernatural's Kevin Tran, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency's Osric Chau and voice actor for DC Comics Villain, Ray Porter have been confirmed to appear at the event.

Amer Rashed Al Farooq, Deputy CEO at Speedy Comics Group said, “We are excited to introduce PopConME to Dubai. I have been a fan of comic books since I was a child and have been entrenched in the community from an early age. This is a dream come true for a true geek like me.
