Dubai To Host First Edition Of Dubai Premier Padel P1 In November
Updated on 15 July 2024

Dubai is all set to host its inaugural Dubai Premier Padel P1 tournament from 3 to 10 November at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Al Garhoud. Part of a unified 25-tournament season spanning 18 countries across five continents, the Dubai Premier Padel P1 will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, as announced by the organisers.

Gallop Global is organising the Dubai Premier Padel P1 event, set to feature 256 players competing in separate male and female pairs formats, with a combined prize pool of Dhs 1.89 million.

This marks the first-ever hosting of the tournament in Dubai, facilitated through a multi-year agreement involving the UAE Padel Association (UAEPA), the Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), Dubai Sports Council (DSC), Premier Padel, and Gallop Global, underscoring the city's growing prominence in the global sports arena.

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, said, "Dubai Premier Padel P1 will provide fans with a new opportunity to witness intense, world-class competition as it will feature 256 male and female players from around the world, at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, which also hosted the largest edition of the World Padel Championship in 2022. This event plays a pivotal role in the growth of the padel community, not just in Dubai but also on a global scale, while also cementing Dubai’s position as a global hub for sports and events."

In addition to the exciting matches on the court, the week-long championship promises tons of off-court entertainment, creating an exceptional experience for padel enthusiasts. Early bird tickets are now available for purchase starting at Dhs 48 on Platinumlist's website. Don't miss out, reserve your spot today!
