Prepare to relive the magic of the 80s and groove to your favourite classics at REWIND Fest DXB, returning to Dubai for its third edition. Mark your calendars for Saturday, 22 February 2025, the musical event will take place at Bla Bla, The Beach, JBR.

This one-day-only extravaganza promises an unforgettable experience with a stellar line-up headlined by the legendary Tony Hadley, known for hits like 'True' and 'Gold'. The festival will feature live performances, DJs, fantastic food and a variety of activities throughout the venue.

Returning bigger and better, REWIND Fest DXB ensures a vibrant atmosphere catering to both new attendees and fans of previous editions. Midge Ure, who impressed in 2024, is also set to perform.

Joining Tony Hadley on the main stage are iconic musicians including: 

Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey: As the lead vocalist of the Thompson Twins, Tom Bailey gained fame with hits like 'Hold Me Now' and 'Doctor! Doctor!' The band was known for its catchy synth-pop sound and enjoyed success throughout the 1980s.

Midge Ure: Midge Ure co-founded Band Aid and Live Aid, iconic movements in music history. His solo career also produced memorable songs such as 'If I Was' and 'Call of the Wild'. 

Tunde: Tunde Baiyewu's soulful voice is recognisable from Lighthouse Family hits such as 'Lifted' and 'High'.

The Christians: This Liverpool-based band is known for their socially conscious lyrics and soulful melodies. Hits like 'Ideal World' and 'Harvest for the World' reflect their commitment to thoughtful songwriting.

Katrina: Katrina Leskanich fronted Katrina and the Waves, achieving global fame with the upbeat anthem 'Walking on Sunshine', which remains a staple of feel-good pop music.

Toyah: Toyah Wilcox is not only a musician but also an actress known for her vibrant punk and new wave music in the 1980s. Her hits include 'It’s a Mystery' and 'Thunder in the Mountains'.

Tiffany: Tiffany Darwish, known as Tiffany, rose to prominence with her self-titled album featuring hits like 'I Think We’re Alone Now' and 'Could’ve Been', becoming a teen pop sensation.

Disco Inferno: This tribute band specialises in recreating the disco era's infectious dance beats, ensuring a lively atmosphere with classics from artists like Donna Summer and Bee Gees.

The event will be hosted by The Doctor from ‘Doctor and the Medics’, known for his energetic style and charismatic presence. 

REWIND Fest DXB will be held outdoors with a custom-built stage at Bla Bla, against the stunning backdrop of the Gulf and Ain Dubai, the event offers a covered pool area and spectacular views from several bars.

Tickets And Other Details

Tickets go on sale from 4 pm today, Friday, 19 July and can be purchased via REWIND Fest's website. General Admission is Dhs 395, with limited early bird tickets at Dhs 345, and VIP tickets at Dhs 645. 

VIP ticket holders enjoy dedicated bars, seating, waiter service, and a reserved standing section at the front. So hurry, book your tickets now and don’t miss out on this nostalgic celebration.
