UAE's Only All-Female Obstacle Event, Bia Warrior Challenge To Return On 31 August
Updated on 19 August 2024

Bia Warrior, the UAE's leading fitness and wellness program focused on empowering women, has announced the return of the Bia Warrior Challenge on 31 August and 1 September in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council. As the UAE's exclusive all-female obstacle event, the Bia Warrior Challenge provides a dynamic platform for women to push their physical and mental boundaries within a supportive and empowering setting. One can participate in the event as an individual or even as a team.

Returning to Gravity Calisthenics Gym in Al Quoz, this year's event promises to be even more exciting, featuring a diverse array of new obstacles that challenge athletes of all skill levels on individual and group levels and allow them to push their limits further than ever before.

For the first time, participants have the chance to win cash prizes totalling Dhs 6,000, along with a range of attractive rewards. Prizes include Dhs 12,000 from Under Armour, a one-night stay for two at JA The Resort, a two-week subscription with Real Meal, an ice bath and breathwork session with renowned Dubai coach Jennifer Chalouhi, and more.

The challenge will unfold in three stages:

Participate in stage one of the qualifier round and aim to secure one of the top 15 fastest times to advance to stage two! The six fastest times will then proceed to the finals, where they will compete for the top three prizes.

Samia Kallidis, Co-Founder at Bia Warrior, said, "The Bia Warrior Challenge is more than just an obstacle course or a date on Dubai’s exciting fitness calendar; it’s a celebration of strength, resilience and sisterhood. It’s a testament to our vision of creating opportunities for all women to push their limits and unleash their inner warriors in a competitive, supportive environment."

Since its debut in June 2023, the Bia Warrior Challenge has quickly established itself as a major event for women in the UAE. It offers a unique obstacle racing experience that builds physical and mental resilience while fostering a strong sense of community.

Open to women of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced athletes, the challenge features a variety of obstacles, including ninja and parkour elements, as well as strength-based tests that emphasise strategic collaboration and teamwork. Designed to enhance balance, coordination, strength, and agility, the obstacle course includes features such as monkey bars, balance beams, and climbing structures, ideal for both individuals and groups.

Registration is open exclusively to women, with fees of Dhs 150 for individuals and Dhs 350 for teams. So hurry, register now!
