Dubai Summer Surprises Announces Grand Celebrations For Finale Week

Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is concluding its biggest and most exciting season ever on 1 September. After 65 days of thrilling summer activities, residents and visitors have one last chance to enjoy incredible citywide events and entertainment.

When it comes to events and entertainment, get ready for an exciting line-up of live entertainment throughout the week. On 29 August, Zabeel Theatre will host Persian pop sensation Reza Sadeghi, followed by Bollywood superstar Shaan at Coca-Cola Arena on 31 August. Filipino rock band Parokya Ni Edgar will take the stage at Coca-Cola Arena on 1 September. 

Comedy enthusiasts can look forward to Tom Alban's stand-up show at Zabeel Theatre on 31 August, featuring Imah Dumagay as host and Sahar Ali as an opening act. Additionally, Zabeel Theatre will present the Sudanese Comedy Night on 1 September with performances by Awad Shakespeare, Amouri, Young Doony, Mohamed Ali, and Rizqa.

For families, City Centre Mirdif will host Stories Alive on 30 and 31 August, featuring free storytelling and musical performances by Kathy Urban and Lamya Tawfik.

DSS Is Hosting An Indoor Run

But there’s more! Fitness enthusiasts can join the fun indoor run at Dubai Festival City Mall, which will transform into a race track on 1 September. The indoor mall run will feature 2.5km, 5km, and 10km courses, offering something for everyone. 

Dining And Gastronomy

It’s your last chance to savour special menus during Summer Restaurant Week at over 60 top restaurants. Enjoy two-course lunches for Dhs 95, three-course dinners for Dhs 150, and select breakfasts for Dhs 69. Reservations can be made via OpenTable.

Enjoy Movies At Roxy Cinemas 

Roxy Cinemas is wrapping its summer line-up with final screenings of family-friendly movies and comedy shows until 1 September.
