Updated on 14 October 2024

Get ready to stretch, gear up, and put on your running shoes because Dubai is set to host a lively music run this November! The Music Run, a world-renowned series known for blending music, fitness, and fun, will debut in Dubai at the iconic Meydan Racecourse. Scheduled for Saturday, 16 November, this event is part of the Dubai T100 Triathlon weekend. It promises an exciting and accessible experience for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

The Music Run has become a global hit, captivating fitness and music fans with its unique format. Unlike traditional fun runs, this 5km course is lined with speakers blasting a curated playlist, creating an energetic atmosphere throughout. The event ends with a high-energy music festival featuring top local DJs.

Taking place for the first time in the Middle East, The Music Run Dubai will be held at the iconic Meydan Racecourse, the venue of the Dubai World Cup. This marks the event's debut in the region, following successful runs in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and the Philippines. The Dubai edition is expected to attract over 10,000 participants, from seasoned runners to casual walkers and families with strollers, all ready for a unique experience.

The Music Run is a vibrant addition to the Dubai T100 Triathlon weekend taking place from 15 to 17 November, offering a fun, music-filled experience alongside the competitive triathlon events. While elite triathletes compete for a share of the $250,000 prize purse in the Dubai T100 Triathlon, The Music Run caters to those seeking a more relaxed, high-energy event.

The Dubai T100 Triathlon weekend features a range of events, from the challenging 100km triathlon (2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run) for seasoned athletes to a shorter Sprint distance category (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) for newcomers. The weekend will also include a festival area with food trucks, entertainment, and interactive activities, making it a great outing for families and friends.

Both The Music Run and the Dubai T100 Triathlon are part of the 2024 Dubai Fitness Challenge, which encourages residents and tourists to engage in 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days. This challenge aims to foster long-term healthy habits and connect the community through fitness, with The Music Run adding an extra dose of fun to the initiative.

When it comes to tickets, tickets for The Music Run are now available from Dhs 89 on The Music Run's website.
