The Laughter Factory is excited to welcome back award-winning Canadian comedian Kate Barron, known for her brutally honest and unfiltered humour. Joining her is Farhan Solo, a rising star in the UK comedy scene, who is making his debut in the Gulf with his unique take on race, politics, family, and dating. Lastly, Maher Barwany, a standout from the Dubai Comedy Festival, will also be performing. Barwany was notably the first local act Jason Manford sought out to perform alongside him in front of Manford’s extended family during his last appearance at The Laughter Factory.

Meet The Comics

Kate Barron

Award-winning Canadian comedian Kate Barron brings a refreshingly unfiltered perspective on dating and relationships. Known for her brutally honest and fearless approach, Kate transforms her personal experiences into hilariously candid stories. Rejecting self-deprecation, she channels her experiences and no-nonsense attitude into comedy that resonates with anyone needing a boost of confidence or a good laugh.

Farhan Solo

Farhan Solo burst onto the comedy scene in late 2019 and has quickly gained recognition in London’s vibrant comedy circuit. As the first-ever winner of the Top Secret Comedy Club Gong Show, Solo has performed at numerous pro comedy nights and was a finalist in 'So You Think You're Funny?' 2021. His recent feature on Channel 4’s 'Only Jokes a Muslim Can Tell' and involvement in ITV’s comedy writers initiative, showcases his skill in addressing universal themes like race, politics, and family through a unique millennial Muslim perspective.

Maher Barwany

Dubai-born Maher Barwany, originally from Zanzibar, Tanzania, has built a strong reputation over his 12-year comedy career. Maher Barwany's performances span across various Dubai and Abu Dhabi venues, including the Dubai Comedy Festival and popular spots like The Annex and Flashback Speakeasy. Known for his engaging style, Maher Barwany has also performed with the 'Funbassadors of Comedy' in Oman, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the regional comedy scene.
