Updated on 30 January 2025

The inspiring and vibrant Sikka Art and Design Festival returns to Dubai for its 13th edition, which will run from 31 January to 9 February in Al Shindagha neighbourhood. The festival will commence on Friday under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. The festival comes under the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy and it will showcase innovative platforms and diverse art forms by pioneering artists and emerging talent from the UAE and Gulf region.

This year’s edition offers a lot for art-lovers of all kinds, exhibiting a vibrant mix of public art installations, live performances and immersive experiences. Visitors can explore over 40 public art pieces, 19 dedicated houses and interactive installations spread across Dubai Creek. It will also feature murals, 450 workshops, over 100 live performances, orchestral concerts and much more.

Some of the main highlights include performances by the Firdaus Orchestra under the guidance of the legendary composer A.R. Rahman, the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the Dubai City Sound Ensemble. The festival will also host an exclusive Emirati Music Night and, for the first time, a dedicated People of Determination programme.

Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a music lover, or simply looking to explore the soul of Dubai’s creative community, Sikka Art and Design Festival 2025 promises an unforgettable experience. Don’t miss your chance to witness it.
