Camel Museum
Updated on 24 May 2017

Located in the ‘Rekab House’ (camel house), the museum was originally used as a camel stable for the sheikhs. When the building was restored, its architectural design was conserved to become a camel museum. This unique house explains the history and prominence of camels, and illustrates breeds such as the Saleel, Faseel, Naqah and Hewar used by the Bedouin people as ships of the desert. Open from 7.30am to 2.30pm. Admission is free. Call 04-3937139.
