Ramadan In Dubai: Exclusive Shopping And Retail Districts Revealed For The Holy Month
Updated on 19 March 2024

Dubai has a variety of markets and events during the Holy Month of Ramadan, which offer opportunities to shop and enjoy oneself. To cater to the shopping needs of visitors and residents, Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment (DFRE) organises several events during the Holy Month. And now under 'Ramadan in Dubai' Dubai Festival and Retail Establishment has announced seasonal offers by Dubai Malls, shopping districts and more.

Shopping In Dubai During The Holy Month

The shopping experience during Ramadan in Dubai is truly special, with malls and stores beautifully decorated and lit up, creating a festive atmosphere. After breaking the fast at Iftar, visitors can enjoy entertainment and activities in various shopping destinations throughout the city, including Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Malls. On weekends, there will be fireworks displays above Bluewaters and The Beach, JBR at 10pm every weekend.

JBR and City Walk will also have outdoor markets offering unique artisanal products, perfect for finding special Ramadan gifts. Live music, entertainment, and traditional decorations will enhance the overall magical ambience.

Dubai Festival City Mall will transform into a hub of heritage and culture, where you can experience traditional food and artisan products at a special Ramadan tent in Festival Bay.

Nearby, visitors can choose gifts for friends and family at a vibrant night market at Bay by Social, which will also host the city’s favourite food trucks and family-friendly entertainment. Adding to the charm, the IMAGINE show, a mesmerising display of lights and water, can be enjoyed every evening. A beloved annual tradition, the Iftar cannon will signal sunset every evening.

Lastly, customers who have the Blue Rewards app and dine at restaurants in Dubai Festival City Mall can upload their receipts to enter a weekly draw for a chance to win Dhs 5,000 worth of Blue points. In addition, they can also take advantage of special Ramadan offers.
