Iconic Firework Shows To Enjoy During National Day Weekend!

As the UAE celebrates the 51st UAE National Day, the excitement can definitely be felt in the air.

From a range of events and activations held to celebrate the milestone, one of the highly awaited parts of the celebrations (apart from the days off!) is the iconic fireworks shows.

As most people love to gather around and watch the sky light up, here are some amazing spots to visit to get the best seat in the house to watch the fireworks around the UAE.

Dubai:

Dubai Festival City Mall

On 2 December at 9pm, Dubai Festival City Mall is a great place to enjoy a brilliant firework show as well as enjoy a free IMAGINE show. While experiencing the show, check out Vibes by the Bay for amazing food options and fun experiences for the family.

Global Village

Global Village is back for the year with its 27th edition till 29 April 2023, and is known for offering visitors spectacular fireworks. Sure to celebrate UAE National Day weekend with a bang, on 3 December, delight in watching a brilliant firework show, while also exploring the 27 pavilions and tucking into amazing food.

The Beach JBR

With the cooler weather and the long holiday, a trip to the beach is a great way to spend the public holiday. While at The Beach at JBR, enjoy watching an amazing firework show on 2 December from 8pm onwards.

The Pointe

Delight in a two-in-one spectacle at The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah. On 2 December at 9pm, as the water fountain dances to the tunes of 'Ya Salam Ya Dubai', fireworks will light up the sky. 

Abu Dhabi:

Sheikh Zayed Festival

Located at Al Wathba, Sheikh Zayed Festival will run till 18 March 2023, and is set to go all out in celebration of the 51st National Day. On 2 and 3 December, a huge firework show display will take place at 10pm.

Al Maryah Island

The promenade at Al Maryah Island is bringing the National Day celebration over two days, on 2 and 3 December. Watch the lights decorate the sky in the colours of the UAE flag at 9pm.

Emirates Palace

Celebrate the 51st UAE National Day with a brilliant firework show at Emirates Palace. Held by the Waterfront on 2 December at 9pm, the fireworks are set to light up the sky.

Yas Island

At 9pm on 2 December, get your phones ready to record a spectacular show. Held at Yas Bay Waterfront, marvel at the amazing display. 

Bawabat Al Sharq Mall

Home to some of the popular and renowned brands, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, is the one-stop destination for shopping. On 2 December, an amazing firework show to remember will be held at 9pm for National Day.
