The Dubai Fountain and Lake Ride
Updated on 16 February 2017

The Dubai Fountain was designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas, and is 275 metres long with five circles and two central arcs. Over 6,600 lights and 50 colour projectors create a breathtaking show syncronised with classical, Arabic and world music. Shows run at 1pm and 1.30pm and then every 30 minutes from 6pm to 11pm Sunday to Wednesday, and 11.30pm Thursday to Saturday. The Dubai Fountain is located next to The Dubai Mall and entrance is free.

Dubai Fountain Lake Ride

Now you have the opportunity to navigate the 30-acre Burj Lake (home to The Dubai Fountain) on an Abra. Each Abra can accommodate 6 people and will navigate a defined path that doesn't interfere with the fountain's grid. Boats operate every 30 minutes between 5.45pm and 11.30pm daily (rides are held between performances to ensure your safety). Price is Dhs 65 and the ticket counter and Abra bay are located at the waterfront promenade of The Dubai Mall.
