One wing of Naif Fort, Dubai’s first police station, has been converted into a museum to share the history of the police and security services in Dubai. Consisting of two showrooms, the museum gives visitors the opportunity to view how uniforms have evolved over the years, the weapons used from formation up until now and models of arrest and detention rooms. Entry is free. The museum is open from 8am to 2pm from Sunday to Thursday. Location: Naif area, Deira. Call 04-5155000.
