Updated on 31 October 2023

Japan has a unique appeal with its futuristic tech, delicious ramen, popular KitKats, and stylish fashion. And if this Asian country has always been on your list, here's something for you. Dubai is hosting its inaugural Japan Culture Con, providing an authentic experience of Japanese culture in the heart of the emirate. Japan Culture Con will take place at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai from 10 to 12 November.

During the three-day festival, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese culture, daily life, culinary delights, and captivating performances. From traditional tea ceremonies to mesmerising stage acts by celebrated artists, you can also relish the performances of beloved voice-over artists as they bring popular Anime and Manga series to life, leaving you awestruck by Japan's artistic talent. Additionally, the event will introduce the first-ever Japanese Maids Cafe, MAID-ON, to Dubai for an exclusive experience.

Visitors will have the chance to indulge in Japanese dishes and explore a vibrant marketplace filled with Japanese handicrafts, kimonos, and cosmetics, offering distinctive souvenirs for those seeking unique souvenirs. Families can also enjoy specially designated areas for children, featuring unique games imported directly from Japan. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore Burj Park in a Japanese rickshaw and admire the splendour of Japan's abundant heritage. Just imagine!

The three-day event will commence at 2pm, and guests can visit till 11.30pm. Tickets are currently available for purchase, starting at just Dhs 30. So hurry, buy the tickets now and add a touch of Japan to your life while living in Dubai.
