Expo City Dubai is hosting the second edition of the Dubai Esports and Games Festival. Gamers can enjoy talks and seminars from over 100 leading experts in the industry. Global Chess League

When Till 2 July

Where Le Meridien Dubai Hotel and Conference Centre, Al Garhoud

Enjoy watching the first edition of the Global Chess League. Six teams of six players will compete against one another in a series of thrilling matches. This weekend, 12 qualifying matches will take place, with the winners of each round coming closer to the finals that will be held on 2 July. The event is free to attend.



Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike

When 23 to 25 June 

Where The Junction, Alserkal Avenue

Enjoy a brilliant tale of three middle-aged sisters this weekend at Alserkal Avenue. The show revolves around the story of three sisters Vanya and Sonia who live together and have to come to terms with the fact that their older sister, Masha wants to sell their family house. Prices are set at Dhs 100.

This weekend, the June Selfdrive Laughter Factory is set to bring all the laughs. Watch amazing and hilarious sets from stand-up comedians, Liz Miele, Khaled Khalafalla and Scott Bennett. Prices for the show are set at Dhs 160.

Where 25hours Hotel One Central, DIFC

International Yoga Day

Ismat Apa Ke Naam

Where The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates 

Delight in a wonderful play in Urdu and Hindi by writer Ismat Chughtai, where three stories will be brought to life. Performed by Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah, the stories highlight life in Indian societies. Prices start at Dhs 275.



ARTE - The Maker's Market

Dubai Performing Arts Academy is hosting an entertainment-filled event this weekend. This weekend, classical music enthusiasts can spend time delighting in an amazing performance.
