Dubai Sports World Now Open!

The largest indoor sporting area in the UAE, Dubai Sports World, is now officially open.

The 12th edition of the annual multi-sports initiative will run for close to six months, offering sports enthusiasts with ample time to hone new sporting skills.

With 42 courts and pitches ranging from volleyball, basketball and badminton, the venue has something for everyone and encourages a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Located at Za'abeel Halls 3 to 6, the venue will be open from 8am to 1am during Ramadan and from 8am to midnight, till 21 September.

Visitors can enjoy 18 badminton courts, 3 basketball courts, a cricket pitch, 6 football pitches, 2 padel courts, 8 table tennis tables, 2 tennis courts and 2 volleyball courts.

Mahir Julfar, Executive Vice President - Venue Services Management, Dubai World Trade Centre said, “Sports is a fundamental part of life here in Dubai and we are delighted to be able to provide residents and visitors alike with a platform that enables them to come, enjoy, make friends, and continue playing their favourite sports through the summer. We are extremely proud to have expanded the venue this year to add more courts and facilities for residents and tourists. As this year’s tagline goes, Dubai Sports World offers all sports, all summer, all indoors.”
