Get ready to chuckle and have a blast this April as the hilarious Dubai Comedy Festival returns on 12 April! Back for its 2024 edition, this beloved festival guarantees non-stop laughter with top comedians from around the globe. Don't miss out on 10 days of side-splitting shows featuring the funniest comedians delivering unforgettable performances. 

The Dubai Comedy Festival will take place at multiple venues across the city, including Dubai Opera,  Coca-Cola Arena and Roxy Cinemas Dubai Hills Mall. At Dubai Opera, there will be a new central setup, making it easy for you to move between shows or mingle in one area, creating a festive atmosphere perfect for socialising.

You'll have plenty of options to choose from, with stand-up performances in various languages like English, Arabic, and French, as well as lively variety shows, interactive activities, and a lot more from established and up-and-coming comedians from around the world.

Day-Wise Line-up For Dubai Comedy Festival

12 And 13 April 

Gad Elmaleh: Gad Elmaleh, a well-known French-Moroccan comedian and actor, has gained fame in France, Morocco, and the United States. Get ready to laugh uncontrollably as Gad takes the stage at the Dubai Opera Main Hall on 12 and 13 April. His comedic talent will have you roaring with laughter throughout the show.

Katherine Ryan: Katherine Ryan, a versatile talent, is set to make her Dubai debut at the festival. Scheduled to perform on 12 April at the Dubai Opera Main Hall, Ryan's sharp and witty comedy style, often likened to the legendary Joan Rivers, has earned her widespread acclaim and a devoted fan following worldwide. 

Laughtrip: Laughtrip is a comedy group including Alex Calleja, Israel Buenaobra, Jeps Gallon, and Mak Navarez. With Alex's relatable humour, Israel's incisive observations, Mak's edgy comedy, and Jeps' animated performances, their show promises an evening of laughter and authenticity on 13 April at Dubai Opera Main Hall. 

14 And 15 April 

Kenny Sebastian: Prepare to laugh out loud on 14 April as the renowned Indian stand-up comedian Kenny Sebastian will take the stage at Dubai Opera. With a significant online presence, Kenny Sebastian is known for his versatility, seamlessly switching between English and Hindi for comic effect, you won’t want to miss his comedic genius live at Dubai Opera. 

Frank Skinner: Don't miss out on the chance to see Frank Skinner, the experienced English comedian, actor, presenter, and writer, at Dubai Opera Main Hall on 15 April. With almost four decades in the comedy scene, Frank Skinner is a master of observational humour.

16 And 17 April 

Al Murray: Enjoy a side splitting performace from English comedian, actor, musician, and writer Al Murray at Dubai Opera Main Hall on 16 April as part of the Dubai Comedy Festival. Known for his hilarious performances, Al Murray's show is a must-see event.

Chris Distefano: With 15 years of experience bringing laughter in different forms, Chris Distefano is ready to take the stage at Dubai Opera Main Hall on 16 April. Known for his unique comedic talent showcased on MTV's 'Guy Code' and 'Girl Code', Chris promises a night of non-stop hilarity.

Amer Zahr: Amer Zahr, a Palestinian-American comedian, speaker, writer, and academic, will showcase his over 10-years of comedy expertise at the Dubai Opera Main Hall on Wednesday, 17 April. Prepare for an evening filled with laughter and insightful humour from Amer during the festival.

18 And 19 April 

Zarna Garg:  Prepare for a night of laughter with Zarna Garg at Dubai Opera on 18 April. Known for her fearless social commentary and sharp wit, Zarna's comedy has gained acclaim for her unique blend of humour showcased in her comedy special, 'One in a Billion', available on Amazon Prime. 

Spencer and Vogue: Join media personalities Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams for an unfiltered live show at Dubai Opera Main Hall on 19 April. Get ready for a hilarious evening as they lift the curtain on their lives, from Spencer's love for James Blunt to their competitive relationship. 

Mo Gilligan: Don't miss British stand-up comedian Mo Gilligan's unique brand of comedy on 19 April. With his distinct take on British culture and mastery of genres like grime comedy, physical comedy, and musical comedy, Mo guarantees a diverse range of humour on stage.

Alfred Adriaan's Unfit and Forty: Don't miss the hilarious South African comedian Alfred Adriaan live at Roxy Cinemas Dubai Hills Mall on Friday, 19 April, presenting his side-splitting show 'Unfit and Forty'. Comedy Bizarre: Prepare for an extra dose of laughter as the Dubai Comedy Festival brings back the Comedy Bizarre, happening daily at Dubai Opera Studio from 12 to 21 April (except 15 and 18 April). Enjoy hilarious performances from international comedy stars like Aditya Thomas, Amr Elassal, Bronwyn Byrnes, Emaad Siddiqui, Folly Olubiyi, Ismail Abdirahman, John Hague, Joshua Dias, Liz Bains, and many others. Don't miss out on this comedic extravaganza at Dubai Opera Studio.
