Dubai is always busy with so many sights and activities to enjoy, and even with the summer heat coming, there are still so many events to experience to truly make this month a fun-filled one.

As well as all the amazing activities throughout the month, Eid Al Adha is due to fall at the end of June, making sure to be another great month to make amazing memories with friends and family, and explore all that the country has to offer.

With multiple activations happening throughout the year, Discover Dubai has listed some of the unmissable events happening around the UAE in June.

Razorlight Live - 2 June

Enjoy watching an amazing performance by the British rock band Razorlight. Held at The Tent at Bla Bla Dubai, the four-member group will perform their hits, including tunes from their latest album, 'Razorwhat? The Best of Razorlight' like 'Stumble and Fall', 'Wire to Wire', 'Before I Fall To Pieces' and more. Prices start at Dhs 250.


Sleeping Beauty - 2 and 3 June

Delight in a two-day special at Dubai Opera with the brilliant performance by Moscow Ballet 'La Classique'. The show will tell the tale of Aurora, a princess, who has a spell cast on her by an evil fairy, that puts her into a deep sleep on her 16th birthday. The show will feature spectacular sets, costumes and music scores for all that attend to marvel in. Prices start at Dhs 250.


Tom Odell - 7 June

Enjoy a brilliant night to remember as Tom Odell, English pop singer and songwriter, makes his way to Dubai as part of his international tour. Delight in listening to amazing compositions on the piano accompanied by Tom's mesmerising voice with tunes including 'Another Love', 'Can't Pretend', 'Best Day of My Life', 'Half As Good As You' and more. Shamma Hamdan - 8 June

As part of the World Padel League, Shamma Hamdan, the Emirati singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, is set to perform this month. Held at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, enjoy a performance by the first Emirati woman to reach the finals on 'Arabs Got Talent' in 2012. Sing along to hits including 'Abee Afham', 'Moajaba' and more. Mjaddara Hamra - 8 June

Get excited to witness an amazing Arabic play this month. Held at The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, Mjaddara Hamra will make its way to Dubai after hosting shows in Lebanon for five years. The play will have actress Anjo Rihane perform. Prices start at Dhs 135.


Simply Red - 9 June

The amazing British soul and pop band, Simply Red is making their way to Dubai. Making waves in the music industry since 1985, the group will perform hits at Coca-Cola Arena, including 'You Make Me Feel Brand New', 'Money's Too Tight', 'Sunrise' and more. The concert will mark the group's return to Dubai after 20 years. A Tribute to Adele - 9 and 10 June

Theatre at QE2 in Dubai is bringing a one-of-a-kind tribute to the iconic Grammy award-winning singer, Adele. Helen Ward Jackson will perfectly encapsulate Adele’s music, singing top hits including ‘Set Fire To The Rain’, ‘Hello’, ‘Rolling In The Deep’, ‘Easy On Me’ and more. Prices start at Dhs 99.


The Story of Aurora - 10 June

Dubai Opera is bringing its adaption of the classical fairytale to Dubai Opera for one day only. Turning Pointe Youth Ballet will bring the story of Princess Aurora, who is cursed by Maleficent when she is born. To protect her from harm, three fairies take her to the forest to live, where her tale unfolds. Prices start at Dhs 145.


Mithoon: Live In Concert - 11 June

Head to Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai to watch Mithoon perform on 11 June. Known for amazing songs like 'Jaan Ban Gaye', 'Sanam Re', 'Aye Khuda' and more, the artist will perform as part of the World Padel League. Joining the artists are other brilliant Indian singers, Javed Ali, Mohammed Irfan, Asees Kaur, Abhishek Nailwal, Nakash Aziz and Vishal Mishra. Prices start at Dhs 149.


Warsaw Melody - 13 June

Love is said to conquer all, and this month, The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates is bringing an amazing Russian play to Dubai. Based on Leonid Zorin's play, the story follows a Russian boy and a Polish girl who, despite falling in love, went their separate ways, with life bringing them back together years later. Prices start at Dhs 312.


M83 - 15 June

Dubai Opera is bringing a brilliant performance to Dubai with M83. The one-day-only concert by French artist Anthony Gonzalez, who has been in the music industry since 1999, will see the performer play top tracks, including 'Midnight City', 'Solitude', 'Oblivion', 'My Tears Are Becoming A Sea' and more. Prices start at Dhs 275.


Arabeats - 16 June

The first edition of Arabeats is being held this month at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Delight in listening to amazing Arabic tunes from pop to hip-hop at the concert. The lineup for the show will see Siilawy, BiGSam, and MUSliM make their debut at the venue. Prices start at Dhs 145.


Mind2Mind Connected - 16 June

Nothing is more fascinating than seeing two mentalists perform mind tricks. Held at Theatre at QE2 for one day only, watch James and Marina mesmerise the crowd. The couple have performed on ‘Ukraine’s Got Talent’ and received the golden buzzer and have also performed on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ as well as ‘America’s Got Talent’. Prices start at Dhs 109.


Viktor Komarov - 20 June

The brilliant Russian stand-up comedian is making his way to Dubai for a performance at The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates. Having performed in the comedy circuit for 15 years, enjoy his hilarious take on all things from family, life and friends. Prices start at Dhs 95.


Dubai Esports and Games Festival - 21 to 25 June

Delight in a five-day event, perfect for avid gamers at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. Enjoy watching amazing panels from gamers to game creators and test out gaming skills by going up against players at the event in thrilling matches. 


Dubai Summer Surprises - 29 June to 3 September

Get excited to shop till you drop at Dubai Summer Surprises. With activations taking place at malls all around Dubai, enjoy shopping at a wide range of sales on clothing, shoes, accessories, electronics, furniture and more. To add to the surprises, discounts will be available on hotel stays, and shoppers can also participate in raffle draws.


From Italy With Love - 25 June

Enjoy a marvellous classical piece at Dubai Opera with two world-renowned Italian maestros, flautist Tommaso Benciolini and pianist Leonora Armellini. The duo will perform pieces from classical music artists César Franck, Robert Schumann and Antonín Dvorák. Prices are set at Dhs 500.
