Sikka Art And Design Festival Is Back!
Updated on 22 February 2022

The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced the programme for the 10th edition of the Sikka Art and Design Festival.

Running from 15 to 24 March, the festival will be held at the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood.

The 10-day festival will feature workshops on visual arts, design and new media curated by Art Dubai and will also host live music and authentic home-grown food concepts.

Emirati as well as UAE based artists will display their stunning artworks and will host an exhibition called 'NFT Space', curated by Giuseppe Moscatello.

This year, Sikka will also transform into a platform from a festival and will turn the alleyways at Al Fahidi into an open art museum.

A cinema and animation courtyard will be held and will feature films by the Locomotion Community Cinema, with three days dedicated to talent from universities and independent filmmakers.

Additionally, two days will be dedicated to featuring Arab Shorts by Beirut Animated as well as host workshops and activities by the Animation Chamber.
