Emirates Airline Festival Of Literature To Return On 31 January

The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, the biggest celebration of stories and ideas in the region, is set to come back from 31 January to 6 February 2024 at the Intercontinental, Dubai Festival City. The 16th edition will gather renowned writers, creators, and thought leaders worldwide, creating a platform for enlightenment and inspiration through new events like LitFest Afterhours, Discovery Talks, LitFest Families, and Youth Day.

Renowned figures at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature 2024 include poet Claudia Rankine, authors Curtis Sittenfeld and Rebecca Yarros, translator Anton Hur, Cartier descendant Francesca Cartier Brickell, novelist Miral Al-Tahawy, poet Ahmed Bakheet, and sports role model Zahra Lari. The festival promises enlightening events like LitFest Afterhours, Discovery Talks, LitFest Families, and Youth Day.

Emirates LitFest introduces four exciting experiences for all ages. LitFest After Hours offers evening fun with performances, games, and food from Thursday to Sunday.

Discovery Talks brings authors for free and entertaining lectures on topics like the Spiderverse and Chinese mythology.

LitFest Families features top children's storytellers and illustrators, providing a weekend of dragon adventures and teen spy tales.

Youth Day is for university and high school students, offering curated events on AI, literature, business, and sustainability with a focus on Arabic culture. The festival promises engaging activities, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Tickets will go on sale on December 14, 2023, coinciding with the release of the complete speaker lineup and festival program. Stay tuned for all the details.
