PJ Masks

Where Mirdif City Centre

Children that are avid fans of the popular television show, 'PJ Masks', can now meet their favourite stars at Mirdif City Centre, while also participating in interactive activities including puzzles, challenges and workshops. The series revolves around Amaya, Connor and Greg, who lead normal lives, but at night, turn into superheroes and fight off villains. The event is free to all. 



Summer Restaurant Week

Where Restaurants around Dubai

Explore amazing flavours and cuisines during Summer Restaurant Week, as part of Dubai Summer Surprises. Over 60 brilliant restaurants around Dubai will serve special offers, two and three-course meals, as well as set menus.

Where Alserkal Avenue

Alserkal Avenue is hosting a brilliant exhibition, sure to amaze visitors. Curated by Nada Raza, the exhibition is located around the venue, encouraging guests to be more present while taking in their surroundings. Visitors can marvel at the various works including 'Sunset' and 'Meadow' paintings by Pakistani artist Fahd Burki, and the 'Passage' sculpture by Iranian creator Sahand Hesamiyan.



Yash Bhardwaj: Expat of Arabia

Where Social Distrikt, Palm Jumeirah

Delight in a comedy special by Dubai-based stand-up comedian, Yash Bhardwaj, as he shares his experiences on moving to the Middle East and life as an expat. Also joining the lineup are newcomer comedians, Noha Bashir, Adi Thomas and Abdalla Hassan. Prices are set at Dhs 100.



August Selfdrive Laughter Factory Tour

When 18 and 19 August 

Where Movenpick JBR

Selfdrive Laughter Factory is back for the month with the 'The Hilarity Expedition to the Naughty Pole' tour. Enjoy watching funny stand-up comedy sets from Ryan Cullen, Karen Bayley and Nick Page, which are sure to leave guests reminiscing on the jokes for days. Prices are set at Dhs 160.



The Ripe Market

Where Mirdif Avenue Mall

Put on comfortable shoes and head down to The Ripe Market. Guests can enjoy a shopping spree from local and small businesses in home decor, art, fashion and jewellery. Visitors can also delight in a variety of dining options available. 



Aroma Escape 360º

When 19 August

Where Theatre of Digital Art, Souk Madinat Jumeirah

This weekend, Theatre of Digital Art is adding an immersive take on a traditional guided meditation, through visuals, sounds and aroma. The session will be led by meditation instructor Alicia Tillman, and is a great one for beginners and experts, looking for help to relax. Prices are set at Dhs 250.



Beat The Heat: Modi Al Shamrani and DJ Aseel

When 19 August

Where The Agenda, Dubai Media City

As part of Dubai Summer Surprises, enjoy a one-night-only concert with two amazing artists. Saudi artist and social media star Modi Al Shamrani is set to put on an electrifying show, followed by DJ Aseel playing some of the latest hits. Prices start at Dhs 80.



The Laughter Club DXB Featuring Gaurav Kapoor

When 19 August 

Where Dubai Auditorium, Dubai College

Indian comedian Gaurav Kapoor is making his way to Dubai for a show sure to have the crowd laughing through the night. The comedy show is part of The Laughter Club DXB, where the comedian will bring a set full of quick wit, sarcasm and observational skills. Prices start at Dhs 105.



Bollywood Dreams

Where Theatre of Digital Art, Souk Madinat Jumeirah

Delight in watching a 360-degree immersive show, with composer and singer Nabeel Khan. The performance will mix traditional Indian beats with popular English hits including 'My Heart Will Go On', 'Senorita' and 'Perfect'. Prices start at Dhs 170.



Gangs of New York Film Screening

Where Cinema Akil

Directed by Martin Scorsese, the 2002 crime and thriller film 'Gangs of New York', stars Leonardo Di Caprio, Daniel Day-Lewis and Cameron Diaz. The story is set between 1846 to 1863, and revolves around how Irish and Italian gangs began in New York City. Prices are set at Dhs 56.50.
