April is here, a great time to make the most of the month with some amazing events.

The UAE is home to so many exciting events and activations, and if your calendar has been looking a little empty, here are some great events to fill it up and have a blast.

April also marks the Holy Month of Ramadan, followed by Eid Al Fitr, both of which are times to spend with family, friends and the community.

Hai Ramadan - Till 22 April

Celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan in a big way at Expo City Dubai. 'Hai Ramadan', running till 22 April, will take visitors on a journey with exciting activities. Delight in a variety of places to break your fast, special shows at Al Wasl Plaza featuring mascots Rashid and Latifa, workshops highlighting Emirati culture and more. Entry is free, with certain workshops and events paid for.


Al Marmoom Heritage Festival - 6 to 18 April

Running for 13 days, the Al Marmoom Heritage Festival is a great one to enjoy that celebrates Emirati culture and traditions. Held Al Marmoom Heritage Village on Dubai - Al Ain Road, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, including camel races, live concerts, traditional dances, shopping for handicrafts and more. Entry to the event is free.


Big Bad Wolf Sale - 7 to 16 April

Book lovers, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the best kind of shopping, for books! Running from 7 to 16 April at Sound Stages, Dubai Studio City, delight in discounts of up to 90% from a selection of over 1 million books. The sale will run from 9pm to 2am, with entry free to all.


Dubai Spartan Night Trail - 8 and 9 April

Looking for a real challenge that will test your endurance, strength and abilities? Well, the Spartan Night Trail is coming to Dubai and is a must-try for all athletes that want to push themselves. Held at the Jebel Ali Racecourse, the 10-kilometre trail will be a challenging one for all to enjoy. Prices start at Dhs 170.


Ramadan Night Market - 9 to 18 April

Make the most of the Holy Month of Ramadan and explore the rich culture and heritage that the UAE has to offer. Held at Dubai World Trade Centre over 10 days, delight in shopping from a wide array of retailers from handicrafts, clothes, jewellery and more. Running from 5pm to 2am, visitors can also enjoy Iftar and Suhoor.


Nad Al Sheba Tournament - 13 April

Held every year during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Nad Al Sheba Tournament is back. The 10th edition of the one-day event in Dubai at Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, will host six amazing sporting competitions, including padel tennis, running, cycling, volleyball, wheelchair basketball and jiu-jitsu. Delight in watching participants from all abilities and ages compete.


Jack Whitehall Live - 17 April

Get ready for a brilliant comedy set by Jack Whitehall this April. The comedian, known for his hilarious Netflix show, 'Travels With My Father', will perform a one-night-only comedy show in Dubai, at Coca-Cola Arena, that will definitely have you at the edge of your seat with laughter. WrestleFest DXB - 18 April

Wrestling fans, this one is for you! The one-day-only event, held at Warehouse 4 at Al Quoz Neighbourhood in Dubai, will be an amazing showdown with some of the best wrestlers in the Middle East. Watch as the wrestlers go head-to-head in a series of choke slams and arm drags. Prices start at Dhs 60.


Dubai Food Festival - 21 April to 7 May

Foodies, it is your time to make the most of the Dubai Food Festival. Running from 21 April to 7 May, all around Dubai, enjoy fine dining options, limited edition menus, and amazing new pop-ups serving innovative dishes. To make the festival all the more exciting, Restaurant Week will be held from 28 April to 7 May, which will celebrate local and international chefs. 


Mutref Al Mutref, Khaled Fouad and DJ MK Live - 22 April

To celebrate Eid Al Fitr in a big way, Dubai World Trade Centre is bringing an amazing music celebration to enjoy. The show will have three iconic Arabic performers, Mutref Al Mutref, Khaled Fouad and DJ MK. Mutref Al Mutref, the Kuwaiti singer, is known for leaving people mesmerised with his amazing singing with Khaled Fouad set to stun the crowd with his guitar riffs. DJ MK will close the night with upbeat music to make it one to remember. Prices start at Dhs 295.


Dubai Cup 2023 - 22 to 29 April

The final championship of the Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series is set to take place this month. Held at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, enjoy watching some of the best polo players go up against one another. Children can also enjoy fun activities at the dedicated kid's area. Entry to the event is free to all.


Ayushmann Khurrana - 23 April

Held at Coca-Cola Arena, Ayushmann Khurrana, the amazing Bollywood artist, is coming to Dubai for a special one-night-only concert. Known for combining contemporary with traditional music, the artist will perform brilliant tracks, including 'Naina Da Kya Kasoor' from the Bollywood movie Andhadhun, 'Saadi Gali Aaja', 'Mitti Di Khushboo' and more. West Side Story - 25 to 30 April

The highly raved musical in America is coming to Dubai Opera this month. With original choreography from Jerome Robbins, West Side Story will follow the New York street gang the 'Jets' as they go up against their rivals the 'Sharks', and shows if love can overcome hostility. The musical has been running since 2003 and has had performances in 28 countries. Prices start at Dhs 250.


Texas - 28 April

Get ready for an amazing one-night-only concert at The Irish Village, Al Garhoud in Dubai with the iconic alternative rock band, Texas. The group was formed in 1987 in Scotland and consists of singer Sharleen Spiteri and bassist Johnny McElhone. Dance along to the tunes including 'I Don't Want A Lover', 'In Our Lifetime' and more. Joanne McNally Live - 29 April

Get ready to watch a brilliant comedy set with Joanne McNally. Having 50 sold-out nights on her record, the popular Irish stand-up comedian will perform at The Agenda in Dubai Media City and is sure to have everyone in tears, while laughing at the amazing jokes. Prices start at Dhs 295.


Ibiza Global Radio Festival - 29 April

Soul Beach at JA Resort is bringing back the amazing Ibiza Global Radio Festival, which is sure to be one for the books. The one-day-only event will see a great edition of 30 DJ's going up against one another while playing brilliant house music. To make the event all the more special, enjoy performances from fire dancers and a stunning light show. Prices start at Dhs 150.


Masha and the Bear Live - 29 and 30 April

Looking for a fun event for the whole family to enjoy? Masha and the Bear Live is a great one to check out. Running for two days, the event will be held at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, and will follow the tale of Masha, the Bear, the Panda, the Tiger and the Penguin as they explore the magical forest. Zivert - 30 April

Coming to Dubai for the first time ever, Zivert, the amazing soloist, is sure to put on an amazing set at Coca-Cola Arena. Known for her brilliant vocals and choreography, the show is one to catch this month. The artist performs in English and Russian and brings catchy vintage pop tunes to the table, including 'Life', 'Cry' and more. Prices start at Dhs 175.
