The Dhai Dubai Light Art Festival To Take Place At Expo City
Updated on 04 January 2024

Dubai-ites, brace yourselves; the emirate is all set to get its first-ever Dhai Dubai light art festival in Expo City Dubai. Yep, you read that right! The Dhai Dubai Light Art Festival will illuminate Al Wasl Plaza from 26 January to 4 February. Organised by Expo City Dubai, in strategic partnership with AGB Creative, curators and designers of Vivid Sydney, and the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), this first-of-its-kind event seeks to revive the essence of Al Wasl.

Under the guidance of Amna Abulhoul and Anthony Bastic AM, Dhai Dubai unfolds as a thoughtful celebration of Dubai's spirit and heritage through light. Nestled in Expo City, this annual event provides a canvas for local artists to transform light into a language of creativity and cultural storytelling. Each installation becomes a dialogue, echoing Dubai's vibrant spirit.

At Dhai Dubai, visitors can embark on a luminous journey, and experience the fusion of traditional Emirati heritage and cutting-edge artistic innovation. Join this radiant exploration where Dubai's art and culture are illuminated over 10 days of the festival, featuring light art installations, interactive experiences, workshops, and enlightening talks. For more information visit Dhai Dubai's website.
