Expo City Events For Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) Birthday

In light of Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) birthday on 8 October, Expo City Dubai will be hosting a variety of events all over the weekend. Al Wasl Plaza will light up for the occasion, and an Al Malid performance and Emirati dance performances will be held.

Festival X at Alserkal Avenue is hosting a great event this weekend that will bring art, science and technology to one place. Set to be a yearly event, during the three days, attendees can enjoy a series of workshops, talks, performances and exhibitions. Footloose the Musical

Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival

Where Waterfront Market

Waterfront Market is set to host the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival this weekend, and will see over 60 teams compete in 200-metre races. Dragon boat racing began 2,500 years ago in China and this is the first time the Hong Kong Dragon Boat festival will be held at Waterfront Market. The teams for the races will be divided into five categories, open, mixed, women, corporate and community. Spectators can enjoy the different races over the two days while visiting Waterfront Market.

The first premier event dedicated to superbikes will be held this weekend. The thrilling event will see bikes competing to get to the finish line first. Spectators can enjoy the thrill of the races, which will run from 9am to 5pm, with the main event held at 3pm and admission is free to all.
