With the festive season here, there is so much excitement, happiness and cheer that can be felt everywhere, especially with the chill in the air, and warm drinks to warm up with.

What makes the season even more special are winter markets.

Winter markets are the perfect spot to shop, enjoy activities and eat, and are a definite thing to add to your festive checklist.

Winter Garden at Habtoor Palace

Habtoor Palace is transforming into the ultimate winter destination. Till 31 December, delight in a stunning Christmas tree and beautiful lights, for capturing memories through pictures. Various stalls are available to get your Christmas shopping done and fuel up on food when hungry. Live entertainment will keep all that attend happy. Entry is priced at Dhs 25, which is redeemable on food and drinks.


WinterFest at McGettigan's

Located at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre, the WinterFest by McGettigan's is ready to bring the festive season to the desert till 18 December. The dedicated family area is home to festive food stalls and activities, including a custom roller skating rink around a Christmas tree by Roll DXB and more for all to enjoy. Visitors can also enjoy shopping from the market stalls. Prices start at Dhs 50 for entry, fully redeemable on activities, food and drinks.


Winter City at Expo City Dubai

Originally, home to Expo 2020 Dubai, the area has been transformed and is now offering visitors a great Winter City. Located at Expo City Dubai till 8 January 2023, enjoy participating in amazing activities, including ice wall climbing and visiting Santa's house. Festive workshops, from gingerbread decorations, wreath making, a customised teddy bear toy factory and more, will be held to unleash your creativity. Stores will be set up to get some shopping done, and festive dining options will also be available. Entry is free.


Festive Market at Souk Madinat Jumeirah

The Festive Market at Souk Madinat Jumeirah is set to offer the ultimate winter experience to visitors. Running till 30 December, enjoy various activities, including riding the North Pole train, taking Abra rides with Santa, live bands playing and more. Drinks and food will keep you energised to experience all the market has to offer, and this year, Jumeirah One members can redeem points at the food and beverage stalls. Entry is free.


Winter Wonderland at Ski Dubai

Nothing screams winter more than snow, and Ski Dubai is the perfect place to visit. Bringing a special Winter Wonderland with unmissable activities, enjoy visiting Santa Village and conversing and posing with Santa. The star of the Arctic, the penguins, are also available to meet and have a good time with. Delight in a cup of hot cocoa and continue exploring all that the icy indoor ski resort has to offer. Prices start at Dhs 125.
