Iconic Boney M Experience Is Coming To The UAE In October
Updated on 08 September 2023

If you love disco and funk genre music, we are sure you are a fan of Boney M. The world-famous group and the iconic band of the 70s' have given us timeless hits like Rasputin, Daddy Cool, Gotta Go Home, Ma Baker, and the list goes on. And if you want to take a quick trip down to Rivers of Babylon and sway to the beats of a Happy Song, you must attend the Boney M experience in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Sheyla Bonnick, a founding member of the iconic ‘70s band, is bringing the ‘Boney M Experience’ to the UAE. The legendary artist will perform in Dubai's Movenpick JBR on Friday, 6 October, and in Abu Dhabi at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Saturday, 7 October.

On both days, DJ Gail will play hit ‘70s and ‘80s disco classics after Sheyla’s full Boney M set, so this one is definitely going to be a fun party.

DJ Gail said: “This is going to be the Middle East’s best disco party, ever! The only way you won’t be dancing, is if you’ve broken your leg and even then, you will probably still try!”

With 100 million records sold worldwide and 25 released singles and eight albums, Boney M is one of the most loved bands globally. Their double A-side, Rivers of Babylon/ Brown Girl in the Ring (April 1978), is one of only seven singles to sell more than 2 million copies in the UK.

Their foot-tapping disco music is all you need for the weekend. Tickets for the same are available on Platinumlist. Dubai and Abu Dhabi show tickets start from Dhs 175. Hurry, book them now and make the most of your weekends.
