Gaming enthusiasts, mark your calendars for the Dubai Esports and Games Festival (DEF 2024), where you can dive into the world of gaming at GameExpo and the GameExpo Summit, two premier events organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment. In its third year, DEF 2024 promises an exciting return to GameExpo, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) in Zabeel Halls 5 and 6 from 3 to 5 May. And guess what tickets just went on sale!  

If you are into gaming, hurry and grab the early bird ticket for up to 25% discount, starting from just Dhs 21.75 for day passes. From exploring new game releases to meeting gaming celebrities and participating in esports competitions, GameExpo offers a thrilling experience for gamers of all ages and interests. Additionally, you can engage in cosplay competitions, coding workshops, and Minecraft challenges in addition to witnessing the epic Play Beyond influencer showdown on the 4 and 5 May.

GameExpo boasts various zones tailored to different interests, the gaming district showcases new releases, the future zone features cutting-edge tech, and the retro zone offers nostalgic gaming experiences. And don't forget to visit the narrows, a bustling shopping alley showcasing talented artists.

In fact in 2024, families can join in the fun at the Family Zone, while tech enthusiasts can explore the Electric Avenue, featuring the latest gaming gear from specialised retailers. Early Bird discounts are available for all ticket categories, including weekend passes starting from Dhs 44.25. 

Families can enjoy discounted rates, with a day pass for two adults and two children starting from Dhs 89.25. For an exclusive experience, VIP tickets starting from Dhs 269.25 offer enhanced access and perks like VIP seating and food vouchers.

Before GameExpo kicks off, industry professionals can attend the GameExpo Summit at DWTC's Zabeel Hall 4 on 1 and 2 May. With tickets starting from Dhs 134, one can network with gaming industry experts, attend talks and panels, and even participate in a pitching competition for indie developers.

The GameExpo Summit brings together an array of gaming industry professionals, from local developers to international CEOs. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to connect with developers, investors, publishers, and industry insiders while gaining valuable insights into the business of gaming and esports.
