Sole DXB, the much-anticipated festival all about celebrating youth and contemporary culture in the region is taking place from 8 to 10 December at Dubai Design District (d3). And we've got some exciting lineup news to share! The one and only Busta Rhymes, the legendary American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, is set to take the stage as the headliner on Sunday, 10 December. Busta Rhymes, a trailblazer in Hip Hop since the 1980s, has an impressive discography that includes collaborations with top artists like Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Lil Wayne.

In its 2023 edition, Sole DXB is marking the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop with an incredible lineup of regional and international artists, including some of the genre's most iconic figures.

On Saturday, 9 December, joining the legendary Sole DXB lineup will be Jadakiss, making his debut in the UAE on the festival's main stage, along with the enigmatic Tobe Nwigwe and the true legend Big Daddy Kane. Additionally, Sudanese American ODDISEE, known for blending jazz, funk, and go-go elements into his hip-hop style, will be performing, as well as the master of instrumental hip-hop and composition, DJ Shadow.

The main stage will also feature Nadine El Roubi, a Sudanese singer, songwriter, and rapper based in Cairo, who is one of the region's leading forces in hip-hop and neo-soul.

This year, there's an exciting addition, the UAE Mixtape, highlighting the rap talents from the region, featuring artists like The Recipe, Tac, Tayeb Santo, A'Y, MaxiZee, and Moh Flow. The showcase will be hosted by Mazzi from Def Jam.

Sole DXB will be the opening event of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 29th edition. Ticket prices begin at Dhs 155 and can be purchased through platinumlist or Sole DXB's website.
