Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) is back for another year and will be held from 1 July until 4 September, for 10 weeks of amazing deals, shopping, food, promotions and activities.

The opening weekend for Dubai Summer Surprises will kick off on 1 July with two stunning sound and light projection shows. The first show will be held at Imagine at Dubai Festival City Mall at 7.55pm with the second show held at 8pm at the Dubai Fountains at The Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa.

The light and sound shows will be done to the beat of Dubai Kawkab Akhar. Individuals need to present their vaccination certificates to attend the opening events for DSS.

Those that have waited for the DSS Summer Sale, can now enjoy up to 25% to 75% off over 500 brands at 3,500 outlets, throughout DSS.

A special 12 Hour Sale will be held on 1 July with up to 90% off at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me'aisem, City Centre Al Barsha and City Centre Al Shindagha from 10am to 10pm.

On spending Dhs 300 and more on shopping at Majid Al Futtaim malls, the DSS Share Millionaire promotion will give one lucky shopper a million Share points, every week.

For entertainment, an array of international performers from Morocco, Africa, India, Spain, Brazil and more, will perform at malls around the city, which will have shoppers amazed. 

Modesh World is set to open from 8 July to 28 August for kids to enjoy, explore and have fun. Modesh and Dana, everyone's favourite characters, will return as well to Dubai World Trade Centre's Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2, 3 and The Arena along with special appearances at various malls.

Enjoy a series of entertainment throughout DSS with The Laughter Factory for hilarious stand-up comedy, La Perle for a stunning acrobatic show and delightful concerts by Faia Younan and Ragheb Alama at Dubai Opera.

Summer Restaurant Week will give all foodies the opportunity to try out the best restaurants with special breakfast, lunch and dinner deals, perfect for the family. From 11 August to 21 August, enjoy breakfast for Dh 69 for adults and Dhs 25 for kids. Adults can avail a two-meal course for Dhs 95 for lunch and a three-meal course for dinner at Dhs 150 with Dhs 35 for lunch and dinner for kids.

If in the need of motivation to stay fit, join the daily Inspire Yoga Pilates and Fitness session at DIFC venues and Al Manara. The package is priced at Dhs 900 for 30 classes for 30 days, with the offer available till 4 September.
