Dubai's Hatta Sign Enters Guinness World Records For Tallest Landmark Sign
Updated on 04 September 2023

Dubai is home to several record breaking attractions and is a frequent entry in the Guinness World Records Book. And now, the emirate has added one more record to its name for having the world's tallest landmark sign. The stunning Hattasign, sitting atop Hajar Mountains, has broken the record for the tallest landmark sign.

The Hatta sign is 19.28 metres tall and is taller than the celebrated Hollywood sign, which is 13.7 metres. The Guinness World Records has cited Dubai Holding's sign with the tag of “Tallest Landmark Sign”.

The Hatta sign lights up the night sky and can be reached on foot from Hatta Wadi Hub. In recent years, Hatta has emerged as one of the top weekend getaway destinations in the UAE and offers varied activities like kayaking, hiking, horse riding, camping, mountain biking, archery, ax throwing and more.

You can either do a road trip to Hatta from Dubai with your friends or board Dubai's RTA bus to Hatta with a ticket priced at Dhs 25. The Hatta Development plan is in progress and we can expect Hatta Waterfalls, a 5.4km cable car and other attractions in the coming years.
