Where Green Art Gallery, Warehouse 28 at Alserkal Avenue

Created by Iranian-based artist Dorsa Asadi, the exhibition focuses on her experiences of living through the unrest in Iran, through her ceramic pieces. The main characters, twins Elle and Belle, have constantly appeared in her work through the years and can be seen during this exhibition as well. 



Raging Bull Film Screening

Where Cinema Akil

Cinema Akil is screening the 1980s biography film, 'Raging Bull' this weekend. The story follows Jake LaMotta, a middleweight boxing champion, who uses his troubles from his childhood to win in the boxing ring. However, his issues outside the ring come in the way, threatening to destroy the legacy he built. 



Beat The Heat Concert: Wegz and DizzyTooSkinny

Enjoy a brilliant concert this weekend as part of Dubai Summer Surprises. Egyptian rapper and songwriter Wegz is set to perform with songs including 'El Bakht' and 'Afareet El Asphalt', followed by Dubai-based artist DizzyTooSkinny, performing a variety of genres from hip-hop, R&B and afro beats. Italian-Persian artist, Kiann is set to perform an amazing show that combines classical and electronic music. The composer and producer from Austria will have the audience mesmerised by the sounds of his playing. Prices start at Dhs 200.

Where The Theatre at Mall of the Emirates 

Egyptian comedian Bassem Youssef is making his way to Dubai for an amazing show. The writer, surgeon and producer is known for his quick wit and is called the 'Jon Stewart of the Arab World'. Prices start at Dhs 199.
